NUKORC APPOINTS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR GERMANY

NuKorc Pty Ltd, world leader in the production of high-technology, single extruded synthetic closures, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christian Drekopf as Business Development Manager, Germany, Benelux and Eastern Europe. Mr. Drekopf will commence employment with NuKorc effective November 2006.
Mr. Drekopf will continue to drive NuKorc’s successful European expansion. Describing the appointment as strategic, Stuart Derbyshire, Commercial Director for NuKorc commented: “We are extremely pleased to have someone with Christian’s experience join us. We continue to expand rapidly in Europe and Christian’s knowledge will assist with the development of NuKorc in the critical German market. In addition I expect our active involvement in Germany to create a more competitive environment. This will benefit all wine producers.”
NuKorc, based in Adelaide, South Australia produces high technology synthetic closures for wine bottles. The company currently produces 500 million closures per annum, and expects this figure to be approximately 700 million by early 2007. NuKorc supplies major wineries in France, Spain, Italy, the UK and the US, as well as Australia and has printing and finishing facilities in France, Spain and the USA. Core production is undertaken at NuKorc’s Adelaide site.
