NuKorc wins packaging award in Czech Republic
NuKorc’s commitment to quality and technical excellence has earned it yet another major accolade.
The South Australian-based producer of new technology synthetic closures has won the Czech Republic’s award for Package of the Year in the closure division. NuKorc’s Czech distributor, Cork Janosa, entered the closure in the competition.
“This year they had a record number of entries, totally 89,” Mr. Kaspar from Cork Janosa said.
“The competition, the equivalent of Germany’s Verpackungspreis and England’s Starpack, is well watched by managers and other industry figures, and is becoming more and more relevant.”
The win means NuKorc is now eligible to enter the pre-eminent international WorldStar packaging competition. These awards, judged in Greece in October 2007, are designed to recognise and celebrate a living standard of international packaging excellence.
“The award reinforces our belief in the technical excellence of our product,” says NuKorc Commercial Director, Mr. Stuart Derbyshire.
“Our presence and influence continues to grow as we gain increased recognition globally as being a supplier of choice.”
