Single Extrusion
We have invested heavily in the development of our single extrusion production method because we know it produces the best closure for wine. Using the highest quality raw materials, our automatic and continuous manufacturing process produces a closure with excellent density and dimensional consistency - tried and tested, time and time again with more 500 million bottles of wine each year closed by NuKorc:
Unlike other manufacturing techniques, NuKorc's single extrusion method produces a highly uniform cell structure that inhibits oxygen ingress. What does this mean for you? It means optimal development of your wine and consistency of performance from bottle to bottle. In other words significant savings, happy consumers and fewer worries.
- Consistent and unique cell structure; ensures that the pressure between the closure and the bottle wall is uniform along its entire length. Injection moulded closures generally contain uneven cell size, voids and occlusions. Double or co-extruded closures have other problems specifically associated with bonding between the two extrusions.
- Dimension flexibility; NuKorc can be made to any diameter or length to suit all bottle sizes and fill heights.
